About Me - DJ Adam Ash

Thank you for visiting my site, I'm Adam Ash, a DJ from Brighton, UK. I mix Funky, Electro & Dirty house music, with a little break beat thrown in when the time is right. I have been a DJ for coming on 10 years! Be interested to know how you came across my site, whether is was from myspace, my podcast or a random Google search. Ok so a little more about me. As said I have been into music for around 10 years, into most genre's really, but primarily house. All sorts of house music too, from the funkier house to dirty electro house. I guess I only really started to learn to DJ because my mates did, and no one likes to feel left out. So I started mixing at about 15 - and to be fair I have not really done anything of great notice in the 10 years as a DJ. And by great notice I mean played huge clubs, all over the world, have adoring fans and be a household name! I have played a few clubs/events however; The Event II (Brighton), Creation (Brighton), Alexandra Palace (London), Earls Court (London). Supported twice as nice halloween party, this a garage set though. Had a few slots on internet radio stations Code FM & Transmission FM.

So why am I doing this? Well I have decided to take music a little seriously now. I have a podcast, which is updated monthly, my own web site which you are currently viewing, a myspace page, and would like to get into a club and play out to thousands of people again! I don't know how many people I can reach through the internet, or indeed what sort of people, but I am going to give this a shot again, and see how far I can go. So if anyone reading this, has any tips to help me get out there, please get in touch!
